About the Artwork
I return to the vibrant colours and organic forms of flowers to lift my spirits, especially when I am anxious for spring to burst forth.There is a complex interchange with the negative and positive shapes, pushing forward and backward. My goal if or the viewer to work at untangling the flora while being engaged with the painterly brush strokes.
