About the Artwork
When creating a piece of artwork, I strive to capture the atmosphere or essence of the subject rather than a literal representation. In this painting, j'adoube, I hoped to capture the feeling of when we allow ourselfs to adjust or choose a different path and go openly with change rather than fighting it or trying to control it.
