Inspired by the Spray Lakes of Alberta, Canada. I wanted to show the Larch trees at the edge of this lake under the light of a fall sunset as if they were made of gold.
All my paintings are original artworks, created from my own reference photographs except when stated.

My paintings start with a pull of attraction to an everyday object or landscape because of the light, or even my feelings that day. To achieve my painting language, I use oil paints in a very empirical way producing work that is one of a kind.
"“The intention with my paintings is to make you “feel” as if you were there, to be aware of the
breeze or the warmth of the sun”."
