About the Artwork
In the valley of the Milk River an encampment of Blackfoot have settled in amongst the hoodoos awaiting the buffalo. They follow an ancestral summer tradition which has passed through many generations in witness of the hunt and in vigilance of others who claim this valley as their own. The scouts are out and, as morning breaks, a signal ... Be it the buffalo or be it foe?
