As a plein air painter, the unfolding of seasons is a joy to see, paint and be a part of nature. On the West Coast, my visits are seasonal so I can see the changes in the land. The vision of this painting is to show the simplicity of early Spring. An ethereal quality to the painting was created while painting in the damp air surrounded by delicate Spring green colours of landforms and soft clouds. The shapes are accented by the long format of the paper. I'm so grateful to have the experience of seeing the colour, shapes, textures and feel of the land.
