A view from my kitchen window. Stepping outside I can imagine myself in a forest or near a beach as the wind passes through the thick branches above me. My little piece of heaven amid the bustle of the city and the intrusion of sirens. I miss the smell of the sea. Then I glance toward my destination, my sanctuary hidden inside the shell of a garage. My sacred space where co-creation manifests in varied two and three dimensional forms. Blessed am I especially in this time of isolation.

"We live in a fractured world. This chaos is evident in my work. In between the rivulets of paint and the textural accidents I choose colours and forms to suggest a landscape where beauty continues to reign. She is essential to the survival of humanity."
