About the Artwork
This diptych was initiated by some storm scenes I painted at Chesterman Beach, and few years ago. It developed as two separate paintings which where placed alongside and rearranged as one painting. The development of the coastal struggle was made more poignant by the addition of violent colours and definition of a ship breaking up against rocks on the coastline
