Native to Central and South America; often seen on river banks. Once called a "Cheetah" by an art critic. Most kindergarten children know this is not a Cheetah. I was impressed by the Jaguar's willingness to plunge into murky rivers to kill large prey, like a Caiman. It appeared that the reptile's skull was crushed in the jaws of the Jaguar.
