About the Artwork
This painting a companion piece to My Secret Garden #1. It is also an abstract interpretation of my garden at night highlighting the Japanese anemone, alyssum, thyme, oregano, and clematis. I layered abstracted forms, colours, and textured marks to capture the garden’s wild character while suggesting its magical quality.
