This painting is an abstract interpretation of my garden at night featuring Japanese anemone, alyssum, thyme, oregano, and clematis. Simplified layered forms, colours, and textured marks capture the garden’s untamed character while suggesting, to me, a magical quality. Many people who see my garden have remarked that it feels magical and wild.
