About the Artwork

I adore growing these exotic amaryllis flowers indoors at Christmas time— their lush, oversized white blooms feel both dramatic and refined. I was so taken by their elegance that I felt compelled to capture their beauty in paint. I chose to playfully title the piece Amour-yllis — not for correctness, but for affection. A gentle nod to the French word for love, amour, it reflects just how deeply I adore these blooms. Available unframed.
