This image incorporates my personal motif of the frame and the orca whale image.
I challenged myself to find ways to use when I call “frame line” to symbolize clouds of different sizes and distance as well as
I was challenged to represent clouds distance skies and islands in the sea, with my motif without stepping out of its boundaries to become more realistic.
We lived by the water i and could see whales going by us occasionally. What a whale look like became an interest of mine and I wanted to combine the two ideas into one image.
There is one whale sticking its head of a water to either look to where they’re going or where there might be food. This is probably a matriarch of the pod/family. The horizontal nine is another geometric form as ait’s head of a water to either look to where they’re going or where there might be food. This is probably a matriarch of the pod/family. The horizontal nine is another geometric form as a result I used it to represent the flow of water and to emphasize the abstractness of the whales I wanted to depict.
