Getting the Band Back Together sits at the edge of resolution, and that's intentional. Familiar gestures, textures, and rhythms from different periods of my practice collide here without being reconciled. Earlier work surfaces through subtraction, left exposed and visible rather than buried. The risk is in that transparency: nothing smoothed over, nothing concluded. What remains is layered, unresolved, and alive. A reunion that doesn't tidy itself up. It might speak to anyone who's circled back to a forgotten part of themselves and chosen to stay in the uncertainty of that return, rather than rush toward solid ground.

My paintings are simultaneous explorations of what I see, where I’ve been and how I want to feel. Like me, they are multilayered, complex and full of surprises. I learn something new about myself with each new piece.
"I am unapologetic in my use of colour. The world is a bright, beautiful place and I want to express this in my work."
