This painting is from a photo I took at a local Penning event on Vancouver Island in the Comox Valley. I loved the expression on the horse as the horse and rider worked together as a team to separate and move selected cattle out of a penned group of cattle. This brought back lots of memories of my time growing up with my horse and moving cattle when needed on my family's farm in northern BC.
