May Flowers Guide You Home
C$300
I am drawn to surrealistic animal imaginings and mixed media as a way of creating playful worlds where fact and fantasy intersect. In this work, I explore the curious journey of the honeybee losing its way as it searches for home and its instinctive attraction to flowers and light. Here, the bee finds itself adrift suspended between uncertainty and longing. Yet, on the distant horizon, a glimmer of light emerges. Through this contrast, the work seeks to evoke the delicate tension between despair and hope. The feeling of being lost while still being drawn toward the possibility of finding one’s way home.
