The sculpture is a Peregrine falcon with its wings pulled in tight during a high speed dive. The bird and wing trails are smooth while the rest of the sculpture are rough. This juxtaposition helps to keep the viewer's eyes engaged with the falcon. The patina is unique and created though the use of many different chemicals to give it a very metallic look.
