Swim for New Horizons reflects the experience of moving toward something new, uncertain, yet full of possibility. Layers of translucent colour drift across the surface, overlapping and dissolving like forms glimpsed beneath water. Blues, greens, and soft whites create a luminous field where shapes appear, recede, and re-emerge, suggesting buoyancy and quiet motion.
The painting carries a sense of lightness and trust in the current, allowing momentum to carry us forward. The floating shapes evoke curiosity, courage, and openness, small movements that lead toward new horizons.
While this work stands independently, it forms a natural counterpart to Hope Springs Eternal, where the same visual language unfolds in a quieter, more contemplative manner.

My paintings are simultaneous explorations of what I see, where I’ve been and how I want to feel. Like me, they are multilayered, complex and full of surprises. I learn something new about myself with each new piece.
"I am unapologetic in my use of colour. The world is a bright, beautiful place and I want to express this in my work."
