Peggy's Cove is one of the places I first visited when going to the Maritimes in the early 2000s, and it is one of the places that made me fall in love with the region and contributed to my move to Prince Edward Island eventually. It can be so serene and quiet yet it can be so scary when those storms roll in! I LOVED the light effects when we visited it on a cloudless full moon and I just had to paint that memory.

I think viewers are most interested in my art because they can recognize the familiar or be transported into the unknown but what each and everyone comes out with is a journey into a scene with movement, emotions and peace.
