This abstract oil painting was created using a silicone blade, allowing for expressive movement and textured layering. Through a transition of colours - from deep blues to soft pinks and greens, culminating in a vibrant focal point of golden yellow, the piece reflects an emotional and visual journey. The faint silhouette of a man heading toward the light suggests movement, growth, and the pursuit of something beyond the present. While the narrative remains open to interpretation, my intention was to offer a sense of hope, inviting viewers to find their own “light at the end of the tunnel,” whatever that may be. I believe in art’s power to stir emotion and spark reflection, and I hope this work encourages both.
