About the Artwork
A man of the Copper Age found himself trekking through the rugged glaciers of the Italian-Austrian Alps, 5300 years ago. He carried a quiver with 12 arrow shafts, but only two of them were completed and ready for use. He was most likely in a hurry and fleeing an altercation. His life hung "on the edge" days before an arrow found him and struck him in the shoulder, leaving him to bleed in the cold mountains, forever preserving his story.
