About the Artwork
"Into the Flow" arises from the sea: perhaps a far-flung island, home to sea nymphs, or perhaps seaweed, shells and rocks in a tidal pool. I use organic material from my garden, acrylic paint, and Japanese rice papers, and I immerse them in a turquoise seascape. My work is abstract, but the feeling is of the ocean.
