About the Artwork
Wolves seem to like snow; deeper, the better. Prey animals, like Elk, tire and give up sooner. I saw a video of a 500 lb. bull Elk pulled to the ground by a 100 lb. wolf. After running in deep snow for half an hour, Elk or Buffalo seemed to have no fight left.
