The rain is coming. In my painting, I am trying to convey to the viewer the moods of the west coast of BC, Canada. The rainforests here in our region, are saturated with life and lushness from all the many many months of continuous rainfall we get here. The forest floor is covered in ferns as big as a human at times. The moss drips like icicles from the rain of the saturated trees. Lush greens and earthy tones is what I’m attracted to. I paint and photograph BC’s landscape with much inspiration at my disposal. I love this land.
