About the Artwork
"Dreamy Empress" reveals a field of ethereal tulips in soft, muted tones, evoking a sense of calm and serenity. The painterly strokes give the flowers a gentle, otherworldly feel, as if they exist in a dreamlike haze. This painting is inspired by the stunning tulip gardens at the Empress Hotel in Victoria, BC, which the artist would pass by daily.
