About the Artwork
Orchard house Moorparks was painted from a photo I shot of our apricot tree in our orchard. The apricots are a very old variety rarely seen and the tree itself is over seventy years old. This painting speaks to the crisis of no fruit production of apricots in the Okanagan Valley due to the changing climate we all now face. Preserve our agricultural identity in BC and in Canada.
