About the Artwork
The theme of the work is the rural scenery of southern China and the ideal life of harmonious coexistence between man and nature. The artist attempts to express the world as she understands it in pure black and white. The scenery in the work changes with the changing state of the characters, implying that life situations are like the change of seasons, following the eternal laws of nature.
