About the Artwork

On our way up the mountain the snow was falling heavily. As we put on our skis it kept snowing and snowing, but we started out anyway. It was a well marked trail and we felt safe. While skiing the snow suddenly stopped and like magic the ski was a cobalt blue. What we were left with was the stillness this magical place created. The sight, the quiet sound exuded pure peace.
