By peeling back the layers of time and processes, we can see visually the effect that having extra time can make. Time, after all, is the singular most valuable thing in our lives. A moment in time quickly becomes history, but at least here, it becomes appreciable and persistent - the recorded layers (like rings of a tree) urge you to record each moment as it happens.
