This painting evolved through chaotic forming processes, often the way I work, even with representational pieces. In this case, there was no preconceived idea to start. In the chaotic and busy surface, I questioned the point of completion and what the painting was saying.
I guess this is what comes – “riding the waves of life, it is apparent that change is constant. Whatever thoughts, feelings, words and actions I might engage, they interact with those of many others and with life all around, in general. In an apparently infinite universe, one might ask how our individuality and outflow affects reality or perception in the moment. Life is a demonstration of experiences from the most negative to the most sublime – from chaos to order. Our unique journeys include a full spectrum of joys and sorrows. I do believe that love, attention, patience, and a respect for diversity in life and different points of view, are powerful tools in the creative process itself, and may allow us to bring some order out of apparent chaos. Under the surface of all perhaps we can recognize an essence “eternal” that flows through and sustains all, without the limits of name or intellectual
