Not For Sale
Years ago, I had a painting shown in the Lloyd Gallery in Penticton.
One morning, I received the shocking news that a gas fire had caused an explosion in the gallery. Numbers of art inside was destroyed, including “the Flute girl” and 13 other of my paintings.
In memorandum, I painted a new “flute girl” from what I could remember, thought it will never be the same.
It serves a reminder of loss, rebuilding, and new beginnings.
