About the Artwork

This work is like a spirit of rebirth, emerging like a cloud or seed with textures that reflect the land and water. I strive to imbue a sense of sacred or psychological presence in my sculptures. To this end, I pay attention to anatomy, form, surface texture, and colour. In my current work, there is a sense of fragility as I express existential grief, environmental and cultural, while striving to create a healing image.
