I am working towards a style that combines traditional painting techniques with personal experiences. My inspiration comes from travelling to and spending time in remote locations. Despite their variance, my skies refer ultimately to a universal space of collective memory.
"Within these paintings, movement and space pose a question, which pertains to entering a work where place and time are not defined. what is required is something personal ...a memory...a thought...a colour...an ephemeral quality of sunlight...a timeless sky."
