About the Artwork
Great Blue Heron. My paintings I only use coloured ink formulated for scratchboard. Looking closely at my work, you can see the depth I can achieve with my layering technique. Each painting has upwards of 25 layers of colour washes and scratching. A painting must have visible scratching to be classed as scratchboard art.
