About the Artwork
Often seen on river banks in the Amazon; not afraid of water, prey can even be Caiman or Anaconda. I am impressed by strength of this predator; I saw a video of a Jaguar stalking a basking, adult Caiman, charged through the water and bit on the Caiman's skull, apparently crushing it. The cat then carried the dead Caiman, its own weight, back through the water and up a steep river bank into the forest.
