There’s a simple elegance in how a wave graces the shore, yet that same wave can exude an enormous amount of power as it moves towards the depth of the sea. I am in awe of the unknown beyond the surface. In my Adriatic series, I focused on depth, transparency and colour shift as I layered paint and resin. I hope that it reminds the viewer of a time spent on the water, and how much more there is beneath the surface of the sea and ourselves.
