Between the Rocks
While kayaking, I watch for easy places to climb out on to the land. This place, Between the Rocks, is one of those locations. Painted in layers of colour, I indicated light paths which are dappled throughout the dense, natural forest.

Jennifer Caie, AFCA
The Canadian wild places are Jennifer Caie's subjects in painting. Her artwork is created as a direct result of time spent in Dryden, Ontario's wilderness. She also finds a deep connection while hiking the Canadian coastal regions. “Really anything that reveals the effect of wind on the land."
""On the water, or in the water”
This should be written on the transom over every one of our doors!
I do appreciate water in every form, whether frozen or fluid."
