What we called the bear meadow growing up. The creek comes from a spring above and fades away into the ground again below. Many happy hours were spent playing in the mud and investigating marsh plants. Painted with lightfast watercolour and two brushes I made of ethically sourced squirrel hair. The scene is located in Ryder Lake, BC, in the Chilliwack River Valley, and was painted in studio. Paper size 15x11", image size 13x9.5".
