British Columbia holds a special spot in my heart. My latest hike to Smugglers' Cove along the Sunshine Coast was one which was overcast, early in the morning and perfect. Such moments where everything seams right are rare but in this place, at this time, everything is as it should be. My daughter, who wanted to see the starfish at low tide, came with me. The gentle breeze brought to us the smells that can only come from the ocean with the trees gently whispering. I had plans to do some plein air while she was beach combing but today, life had other plans, plans just to be. We chatted, we laughed, we reached out to each other all the while the peacefulness of the cove embraced us. I will always hold close the memories created.
