"Snow and Sunshine" was inspired by a hike at Nose Hill Park, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It was a beautiful, shiny, early winter day.
It has been made using oil paint and palette knife on canvas. I prepare may own canvas using PVA glue and oil ground for archival purposes.
The sides have been painted and it is ready to hang.
Protected with a good quality varnish and can be cleaned with a soft cloth.

My paintings start with a pull of attraction to an everyday object or landscape because of the light, or even my feelings that day. To achieve my painting language, I use oil paints in a very empirical way producing work that is one of a kind.
"“The intention with my paintings is to make you “feel” as if you were there, to be aware of the
breeze or the warmth of the sun”."
