The inspiration for this painting are the Three Sisters Mountains in Canmore, AB, Canada. I wanted to give them an ethereal light to show my admiration for the place and the good moments we had in Canmore.
Oil on prepared gallery wrapped deep canvas, painted using palette knifes. Protected with a good quality varnish to protect it from the elements and can be cleaned with a soft cloth. The sides have been painted and it is ready to hang.

My paintings start with a pull of attraction to an everyday object or landscape because of the light, or even my feelings that day. To achieve my painting language, I use oil paints in a very empirical way producing work that is one of a kind.
"“The intention with my paintings is to make you “feel” as if you were there, to be aware of the
breeze or the warmth of the sun”."
