About the Artwork
Inspired by a pelican in Varadero, Cuba. This beautiful and big birds, appeared not scared of us, but they kept their distance.
I was inspired by their expression and that is what I wanted to portray.
Oil on treated wood, cradled, sides painted black and framed with a black floating frame for a more contemporary look.
