About the Artwork
This is one of a series of birds' nests that I have been fortunate to find, and paint. The added bonus in this one was the three perfect speckled swallow's eggs, carefully laid in a pile of soft feathers and sheep's wool; the nest was found in a barn on a sheep farm.
