About the Artwork
This work commemorates the awakening of women in China in the 21st century. They are the first group of women in China who have independent thoughts and advocate equality between men and women. They began to seek their basic rights and interests, and at the same time, they yearn for the spirit of freedom.
As an accessible exhibition, the Annual International Representational Exhibition opened up to online-only submissions this year.
The artist opted to exhibit this work online-only for your enjoyment.
