About the Artwork
The forest floor near my home is a tapestry of shapes and colours and rewards the careful observer with rare sightings like this jewel toned lady slipper. It emerged amongst last years fallen leaves, dead and living lichen and blueberry plants. This piece is another from my series "Beauty Amid Chaos"
