About the Artwork

I was singing "Let's Go Fly A Kite" from "Mary Poppins" while creating this piece. It was inspired by a recent visit to the Parksville beach where a number of different kites were in display. The bright neon colors of the kites were used to indicate the cheeriness of the mood I felt while creating this fun artwork.
