Mixed media using up-cycled materials including textiles, paper and sand. An abstracted view of reflections in the water and ripples created by a breeze on a sunny day. The quiet solitude is calming and the idea there is a gentle breeze caressing the water. This painting is mainly done with a palette knife and using real 24K gold leaf and up-cycled materials such as paper, textiles and sand applying the mediums it in a way that evokes the idea of water, and ripples, allowing the paint to guide me until I am satisfied.
