About the Artwork
Although there are several varieties of Rose of Sharon, this one is my favorite. The lovely contrast of the pale lavender against the brilliant scarlet is so unexpected, yet works perfectly! I chose a cool spring green as a foil to the warmth of the flowers' petals.
