About the Artwork
Painting on a quiet beach area on Vancouver Island near the end of the day. The daylight had a coolness about it, yet gave a luminous feel to the colours on mountain, island tree lines and ocean water. There is something so wonderful and peaceful being alone in nature and trying to get the nuances of 'feeling' down on paper.
