About the Artwork
I take a painting outfit just about everywhere I go. This painting started as a small plein air sketch I did on one of my rare trips to the coast. The next winter, when we were knee deep in snow here at home, I recalled the mild salt-rich smell of the sea as I elaborated on the sketch.
