Every once in a while I create a painting that has a magic that can’t be explained.
This is the case with the piece called “The Passing". Painted in honour of my late Mom.
Mom who lived life in black and white and as a child growing up, made it very easy to know right from wrong. For this reason the painting was done without colour though there is the absence of colour, there is an intensity in the moment that captivates you and draws you in to wonder what is being said.
